Although Tom Tyler would play Frank James in Badman's Territory (1946) and Best of the Badmen (1951) as well as another film, here he plays fictional outlaw Wild Bill Yeager.

Lawrence Tierney played Jesse James in the first movie, Bad Men's Territory, as Jesse James, the infamous outlaw. This movie's cast member, Anne Jeffreys co-starred with Tierney twice; in one movie he played another iconic outlaw albeit a more modern one, John Dillinger.

This film's earliest documented television presentations took place in Memphis Sunday 1 April 1956 on WHBQ (Channel 13), in Los Angeles Tuesday 24 April 1956 on KHJ (Channel 9), and in New York City Monday 11 June 1956 on WOR (Channel 9).
