Season 1 of All-Stars is the only drag race series to use a team format. This was changed for later seasons due to its unfairness towards the contestants.
Starting with Season 2, the Lip Sync For Your Life format was replaced with the Lip Sync For Your Legacy format where the top two queens of the week lip sync to choose which of the bottom two queens to eliminate.
During season 2, starting with episode 2, Alaska wore the same white jacket using black tape to create a different letter/symbol on the back. By episode 8, he had spelled out 'A-L-A-S-K-A-!', though the S was never actually seen.
Chad Michaels and Alaska Thunderfuck (Justin Andrew Honard) are the only two contestants who had been runners-up in their original seasons and became All Stars winners.
"Team Latrila" from season one - Latrice Royale (Latrice Royale) and Manila Luzon (Manila Luzon) - are the first two contestants to have competed in more than one season; they returned in season four to compete as individual contestants. Season Five saw the return of Jujubee and Alexis Mateo, who also competed on Season One.
