TRIVIA

Trivia

The film was shot on the disused sets of old channel 4 soap opera Brookside (1982).

The only time Neve McIntosh has been tied up and gagged on screen.

One of three films, along with Terence Davies' Of Time and the City (2008) produced to celebrate Liverpool's title as the EU City of Culture 2008.

The plot was in part inspired by the real-life beaching of the container ship MSC Napoli off Branscombe Beach in Devon in 2007. At the time, the incident was widely reported in the British media as local residents descended on the beach to illegally "salvage" items such as motorbikes and trainers from the wreckage.

Filmed using a JVC HDV camera and edited on Final Cut Pro.
