Filming began during the "Beast from the East" winter storm in February 2018.
As well as Ilkley - the working title and where it's set - the film was shot in Otley, Menston and Yeadon.
Scenes set in a television studio were filmed in the University of Bradford's TV studio. They used set and sofas which were originally built for BBC Look North (Yorkshire) when it moved to St Peter's Square, Leeds in 2004. The set is normally used for teaching TV & film production at the university.
