This was supposed to be a continuation of Parambrata's Feluda series for Addatimes but it was shelved for time being. Instead this one is made for Zee5 with different director, making it soft reboot/spiritual sequel to the Addatimes series.
Sauraseni Maitra's character is made for the series and doesn't exists in the original novel.
