This is the second SRR film to not premiere in December or be entered for the MMFF because it was premiered in November. The first goes to the sixth film released in January 1997.
Originally given an R-16 rating. The film then received an R-13 rating after cutting 19 seconds of violent and gory scenes.
As of November 2023, this is now the longest movie in the franchise, clocking in at 2 hours 28 minutes, after Shake Rattle Roll 13 (2011) (with 2 hours and 25 minutes), and Shake Rattle & Roll X (2008) (with 2 hours and 20 minutes).
