Story

Originally named "The Reef".

This was R. Lee Ermey's first and only fully cgi film outside Disney/Pixar's Toy Story franchise before his death in April 2018 as well as his only cgi voice over role other than Sarge from the aforementioned franchise.

Warner Bros second theatrically released computer-animated film after The Polar Express (2004) as well as the latest one to be rated G by the MPAA.

The only film of the franchise to be rated G by the MPAA and to be released theatrically, all the others were rated PG and released straight-to-dvd.
