Shikarpur is a Bengali-language thriller that shows the story of a small-time detective who is onto cases he finds interesting. Based in this small town of Shikarpur in West Bengal, this series by Hoichoi has been appreciated for its superb casting, which makes it an entertaining watch through and through. The show also has a stellar storyline that uses mystery, suspense, and subtle comedy to enhance your detective viewing experience. The fact that the series is technically sounds, makes it all the more entertaining for detective and police content buffs. Furthermore, the characters develop slowly but steadily throughout the episodes, given us a satisfying conclusion. There is certain criticism regarding the end though, which is satisfying, but the motivation that brings us to it is considered to be lacklustre.
