TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

First film to be released by Simon Pegg and Nick Frost's production company, Stolen Picture.

Filmed at Stowe School near Buckingham. The film's Director Crispian Mills and Cinematographer John de Borman are both former pupils at the school.

The village of Upper Slaughter, mentioned in connection with the school myth, is actually a real place in the Cotswold area of Gloucestershire.

Slaughterhouse School is in Gloucestershire which is the same county as Sandford, the village from Hot Fuzz (2007) which also starred Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. Gloucestershire is also the county Simon Pegg was born in.

Poppet Chenvix-Trench is named after Anthony Chenevix-Trench, head of, among others, Eton College and Fettes College, and notorious for his fondness for caning pupils.
