(CAMEO) Midway through the film when the Snake and Mongoose pull up to the pits of a race track, they are greeted by two security guards who tell them they can park anywhere. The two security guards are played by the real-life "Snake" and the real-life "Mongoose".
When Wally Parks introduces "Paula" to Tom & Jamie McEwen she is played by NHRA driver Alexis DeJoria.
In the closing credits, you see Snake's yellow 'Cuda explode and catch fire. You then see Snake waving his arms and the fire crew spray him down, while the car behind him is burning, although nothing seems wrong with him. This is because the methanol fuels used burn either white or clear and in daylight, the flames can't be seen easily. The Snake is actually on fire and needs the fire to be put out.
