The external shot of the van driving along a two lane highway is the A4 westbound just before the Hammersmith flyover in West London. The giveaway is the distinctive curved building to the right of the shot known as The Ark as its design is reminiscent of a ship. So, presumably the house is meant to be somewhere in the West of London, or, one of the nearby home counties such as Berkshire.
