The song that is played at the beginning and the end of this documentary, and over the opening and closing credits, is "Adam West Is BATMAN" (A Tribute To ADAM WEST) by The Plaid Jackets.
Adam West was born September 19, 1928 in Walla Walla, Washington State, USA as William West Anderson.
When Adam told his father that he was going to move to Los Angeles to be an actor, his father said "I hope you realize how much crap there is down there". Adam said it was the only time in his life that his father was ever not 100% supportive.
Adam's parents were Otto West Anderson, a farmer/rancher, and his wife Audrey V. (Speer) Anderson, a concert pianist and opera singer, and he had one younger sibling, a brother.
"Adam West: I'm peaking this morning. We're all peaking. It's like tweeting. We're peaking and twating."
"Adam West: My dad worked so hard as a farmer. The work on the farm, in which I was involved at a very early age, taught me resilience and to realize how hard it all was."
