TRIVIA

Trivia

The American actors were directed through an interpreter.

In the scene where Bill (Jeff Grays) gets hurt by a kid, the actor playing his boyfriend (Neil Stewart) actually hurt himself, impaling his foot on a long rusty nail.

A scene where the Americans' cars were smothered by a swarm of locusts was cut from the movie.

This is popular Russian director Yuri Grymov's first English-language film.

Production of the movie was delayed several days when Egyptian authorities refused to release the high-tech cameras of the Russian production company.
