Super League: The War For Football is the story of what happens when the concept of a breakaway league emerges to cause high-profile tensions between club members and players in football. If you are football fan, you are going to love this series. Based around the UEFA League, Super League is majorly meant for audiences who are not too involved in European football. It is a documentary-style series where you see an account of trouble between players and club managers as the news of a breakaway league comes to light. The issue at hand is depicted well on screen, but the narratives seem a bit sketchy. All in all, there is an apparent attempt to over-dramatise the issue, which when ignored, makes for fun viewing of classic European football politics.
