Re: The main ending fight between The Black Knight and Simon Darth. The beginning portion of the fight is edited with the ending portion of the fight. The confrontation is never cut to let the choreography build. The beginning having taken place in one part of the location, and ending on a different side of the location. What is seen in the final edit is everything mashed together in one poorly edited showdown.
The movie was filmed in 7 days.
Apparently, the original draft of the script, Evan Grail (The Black Knight) had a much closer similarity to Batman's Bruce Wayne character. Along with similar story arc, he was written to be just as wealthy. The director rewrote the script to match the limited shooting budget (10K) and limited locations.
The Movie was shot in and around Los Angeles, with multiple scenes being filmed in one house in the San Fernando valley.
Randal Malone who played the Head Master was given his lines verbally just before every take. This was reportedly due to him being too ill to remembering his lines.
