TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

The scene in which Bugs discusses his "several fathers" was written by Chuck Jones as a way to debunk fellow animation director Robert Clampett's claims throughout the 1970s that he alone created Bugs. Clampett's name is notably missing from Bugs's list. Also missing is Ben Hardaway, who created the earliest prototype of Bugs and was in fact the originator of the name "Bugs Bunny" (Bugs being Hardaway's own nickname), though in this case Jones later confirmed that the omission had simply been an oversight, and that he would have had no qualms about including Hardaway in the gallery.

Bugs's house, which is cantilevered over a carrot-juice waterfall, is modeled on Frank Lloyd Wright's "Fallingwater" house in Bear Run, Pennsylvania.

This is the last Looney Tunes film music by Dean Elliott.

Only features 2 Looney Tunes characters in new footage (i.e. Bugs Bunny and Roadrunner) Charlie Dog, Yosemite Sam, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Elmer Fudd, Pepe Lé Pew and Wile E. Coyote only appear in either archive footage or are mentioned alongside their paintings in Bugs' mansion. Roadrunner's new footage is of his painting, which features him running into the painting background, which transitions into "Hip Hip-Hurry!"

One linking scene shows the second time Bugs is associated with Chopin's "Minute Waltz". (The first was in Hyde and Hare.) Here, he is playing it at a very rapid pace, and once he finishes, he states he did it in 30 seconds, and broke a record.

Popular Dialogues

"Daffy Duck: [demanding the unseen animator to show himself] All Right! I've had enough of this. This is the final, final Straw-WHO'S RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS! I DEMAND THAT YOU SHOW YOURSELF! WHO ARE YOU? HUH? [the animator draws a door in front of Daffy and shuts it, then he reveals himself as BUGS BUNNY!] Bugs Bunny: Heh!Heh! Ain't I a stinker?"

"Elmer Fudd: [after Reconizing Bugs' Disqiuse] I'll kill the Wabbit! [goes to the top of a mountain to cast his spell] Elmer Fudd: Arise, Storm. North winds blow! South winds blow! Typhoons... Hurricanes... Earthquakes! [screaming] Elmer Fudd: SMOG!"
