The original actor who was to play masked killer Dargle had to pull out of the production the day before the first day of the shoot. Aidan O'Sullivan who is a friend of lead actress Danielle Keaney stepped in last minute to play the role.
During the shoot the crew drove past a dead fox on the road. Seeing this director Anthony White used the opportunity to pay homage to the famous 'Armadillo' scene from Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974)
