TRIVIA

Trivia

Of the four leads that portray the all American band, Motley Crue, Machine Gun Kelly, aka Colson Baker, who plays Tommy Lee, is the only actor who is actually American in real life. Douglas Booth (Nikki Sixx) is from England, Iwan Rheon (Mick Mars) is from Wales, and Daniel Webber (Vince Neil) is from Australia. It should also be worth noting that Tommy Lee is the only band member to be born outside the United States.

Machine Gun Kelly, aka Colson Baker, who played Tommy Lee, has tattoos covering his body and had to wear body makeup to cover them for the role.

The actors playing the band members of Mötley Crüe all learned how to play Mötley songs such as "Looks That Kill". Rehearsals were posted on the actors Instagram accounts.

Director Jeff Tremaine directed every Jackass (2000) movie, including spin-off Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa (2013). This is the first feature-length film he has directed that is not connected to Jackass.

In one scene Vince asks Razzle who he'd rather sleep with: Cyndi Lauper or Boy George. Douglas Booth, who played Nikki Sixx, previously played Boy George.
