The Forbidden Marriage is a South Korean series based on screenwriter Chun Ji-hye's web novel of the same name. The drama has been appreciated for its fun mix of humour, romance, and suspense in this series that makes for a nice weekend binge. The best part about this Korean series is the chemistry shown between the lead actors, which seems extremely natural and easy-flowing. Interestingly, the show does not take itself too seriously, which makes for a lighthearted yet intriguing watch overall. All episodes in the season are interesting, with something or the other to offer. In a sense, no episode as a standalone is boring or just there for the sake of it. The only criticism we could have is of the story being a bit too linear, which could make it seem boring for those who are into complex storylines, especially those that Korean entertainment is usually famous for.
