STORY

Story
When a man dies of a heart attack, a stage and radio mentalist believes he has willed him to die because he was angry with the man. Riddled with guilt, the mentalist cancels further shows, breaks off his engagement to his female partner, who can read minds while in a hypnotic trance, and takes refuge in the eerie wax-museum-cum-home of another woman friend.

Fourth of the six INNER SANCTUM features, shot June 19-July 1, 1944, and released June 29, 1945, on a double bill with "The Jungle Captive, " both copyrighted 1944.

Part of the original Shock Theater package of 52 titles released to television in 1957, followed a year later with SON OF SHOCK, which added 20 more features.

Lon Chaney Jr. and Elena Verdugo also worked together in the movie House of Frankenstein.
