Over 50 set-up shots were filmed in 1 day during the biggest scene in the movie. All of the actors had to perform and memorize close to 20 pages in 1 day. Yet they came through with flying colors, performing admirably and everyone still went home at 6 p.m.
The nuclear bomb scene was filmed in the basement where 'Fight Club' was filmed. The bomb could not be carried down to the basement, so the crew filmed the bomb sequence at the sound stage.
The heavy rain stopped one day before shooting permitting the film to continue shooting unobstructed.
