In the movie version. Wiley and Violet just met after the air balloon rescue which assumes in the movie version they have no relation to each other.
Before this movie was made Wiley the Wolf had emerald green eyes now his eyes are a dark brown as shown in the movie. Wiley also now wears a red sweatshirt no shoes and blue jeans which for a wolf must be uncomfortable to wear. When he used to wear a scarlet shirt, khaki shorts and shoes.
Oliver Raccoon in real life was permanently 8 years old but in this movie he has aged quite a bit and it's believed he is now an adolescent.
Sammy the Squirrel used to wear a camera in Great Wolf Lodge cause she loved taking pictures. Now she traded in her camera to do arts and crafts. As seen in this movie where Sammy was trying to paint Oliver's hot air balloon.
In real life at Great Wolf Lodge the character trait for Violet the Wolf was generous to all as well as being down to earth and wanting to be the center of attention. In this movie Violet is shown to be a perfectionist as well as a tomboy which contradicts her actual character trait.
"Oliver Raccoon: [seeing bubbles in the lake] Just a working theory, but I think it's coming from the geyser."
"Sammy Squirrel: [as Wiley is skipping stones his fun is broken with a cry for help] Woah woah help! [we see Sammy hanging for dear life on the side of a hot air balloon] Sammy Squirrel: We're flying away! Oliver Raccoon: [also clinging for dear life] This was not how it was supposed to work! Violet Wolf: Hold on and stay calm. [Wiley notices a female wolf running towards the hot air balloon] Violet Wolf: I'm going to get you down. [Wiley grimaces] Sammy Squirrel: We need some help up here! Oliver Raccoon: Help! Might I advocate that you expedite the plan formulation process. Sammy Squirrel: [to Violet the Wolf] It means you should hurry! Violet Wolf: [reassuring Sammy] Hey nothing is going to happen to you. Even if I have to jump up there and knock some sense into that balloon myself. Wiley Wolf: Hey what's going on? Violet Wolf: Oliver was testing out his new hot air balloon, but it floated away while Sammy was painting it now it's out of control. Wiley Wolf: [being the hero] Leave it to me. [howls then climbs a tree and reaches the top of a cliff] Wiley Wolf: Hang on up there. Oliver Raccoon: Solid plan I will instruct my ankle to grasp tightly to the rope that is wrapped around to the rope that is wrapped around it. [Wiley jumps for the hot air balloon misses and dives into the forest. Grabs a tree and catapults on to the balloon then uses the rope to climb inside. He starts pulling the rope inside the balloon] Sammy Squirrel: [to Wiley] Hi I'm Sammy Squirrel. Wiley Wolf: That's great, but maybe we could save the introductions until we're down on the ground. [grabs Sammy and pulls her into the balloon] Oliver Raccoon: [pulls Oliver Raccoon into the balloon and Oliver Raccoon thanks him] Oh thanks unexpected heroic Wolf-guy, but expect the prevailing wind shall continue our uncontrolled drifting Sammy Squirrel: He means we're still floating away. Wiley Wolf: Yeah I noticed [as he tries pulling the rope off his legs he launches himself out of the balloon and howls on his way down] Brinley Bear: [Seeing Wiley falling] Woah so cool. Wiley Wolf: Whaaaa [the rope tightens around his ankles and he starts hitting himself on a number of trees] Wiley Wolf: Ahh ahh ahh [then wraps himself up on a branch stopping the balloon] Violet Wolf: Huh? [laughs as she sees Wiley stuck]"
