Story
FBI agent Max Reed witnesses Dr. Tetsu Segawa - a researcher for the mysterious Chronos Corporation - being murdered. Dr. Segawa had stolen an alien device known as "The Guyver" from Chronos. College student Sean Barker, whose girlfriend's father was Dr. Segawa, finds the Guyver's hiding spot while watching the forensic team investigating the crime scene.

Trivia

Jeffrey Combs, plays "Dr. East". In Re-Animator (1985), he played a character named "Dr. West". His boss here is played by David Gale, who played the villain in Re-Animator (1985).

Based on a Japanese comic book known as "Bio-Booster Armor Guyver" in which an ordinary high school student stumbles across an alien weapon, which turns him into a reluctant hero fighting an evil international corporation

The film featured over 50 creature effects.

The character "Lisker" is named for a Ozwald A. Lisker, a character from the original Japanese comic, who was a martial arts expert who tried to stop the guyver using another guyver.

Jeffrey Comb's character is named Dr. East, a pun to his role as Dr. Herbest West in the Re-Animator movies that also deal in experimenting with the human body.
