TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

The closing credits song, "Done The Math," was written by actor Hugh Dillon (who plays Adam Westinghouse) and performed by his musical group Headstones.

The sound effect used for the opening and closing of Noah Kross's phone, is the same sound effect used for the cloak power up in most of the Halo games

Cage's character name is Noah Kross. John Hustons' character in Chinatown (1974) shared the same name (spelt Cross). Water or lack thereof was integral to both films.

This dialogue can't be just a coincidence: At 01:20:11 in the movie: Noah: "Mom, why would they scare us like that?" Then his mom replies: "Because it's easier to build fear than build a wall."

First Nicolas Cage science fiction movie since Knowing (2009).

THE HUMANITY BUREAU."

"Adam Westinghouse: [in the pool] You should come in for a swim. Agent Porter: [nervously by the edge of the pool] Um... No, sir, I-I'll... I'm afraid I-I'll drown, sir. Adam Westinghouse: It's a very real possibility. This is a lost art, Porter. The trick is to hold your breath before you go under. [dives under]"
