Diane Franklin talked about doing her first nude scene in this film in a 2017 interview with the site CrypticRock. "At the time when I did it, I felt my gosh I'm doing this film and, as an actress, is the nudity going to affect my career? I didn't personally have a lot of problems doing it, for myself, but I was nervous. I was nineteen and I had never done something like that before. At the same time, because I had started in the business so young, I was prepared emotionally, I knew that it was an opportunity for me. I had worked so hard on other films, Soap Operas, theater, commercials, that when the opportunity came up I said, 'Well if this is the film I'm doing as my first film, I'm going to put my heart into it. I'm going to make this cool film, from my perspective.'"
Diane Franklin (Karen) is deaf in her left ear. Which is why you see her walk very briefly with her moped she never rides it. When you're in any way hearing impaired it messes with your balance to where riding a bicycle or a moped or motor bike is impossible. She said this while on set.
Nancy Brock, who played the call girl, was propositioned during shooting on Hollywood Boulevard.
Diane Franklin revealed in a 2020 interview that when she went to watch the entire film for the first time, it was in a theater. it was also the first time she had seen nudity in a movie, and she was one of the people nude. In fact, she was 19 at the time and looked so young that the ticket taker didn't believe she was old enough to see an R-rated movie. She had to point to the poster to show him she was an actress in the film. At that point he suddenly recognized her and started leering at her body with a smile. Franklin assumed he had already seen her nude in the movie and could only guess what creepy thoughts were going through his mind. She started to realize at that point that taking her clothes off on screen may cause some embarrassing situations beyond just being naked in front of the cast and production crew.
Director Boaz Davidson once said that he liked to use raw actors (unknowns) because "they are virgins to film".
