TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

Many of the sound effects in this cartoon (Link shooting his sword, Link killing the monsters, items dropping to the ground, etc.) are the same sound effects almost verbatim from The Legend of Zelda (1986) video game.

Since the show is based of the original video game, it only has two Triforce pieces. The Triforce of Courage didn't exist until "Zelda II: The Adventure of Link".

Link says "Excuse me, Princess!" (usually in the form of "Well, excuse me, Princess!" or "Hey, excuse me, Princess!") 29 times over 13 episodes, and in every single episode.

Links catch-phrase "Excuse me, Princess!" is based on and an imitation of Steve Martin's "Well excuse me!".

The cartoon series super mario bros and the legend of zelda are written by the same people

Popular Dialogues

"[repeated line] Link: Well, excuse me, Princess!"
