TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

This special was the first Star Wars material officially released to the growing home video market in 1979 by Magnetic Video Corporation. A later issue on the same label also features a trailer for "The Empire Strikes Back" (1980).

William Conrad was the original narrator. On later VHS releases Don LaFontaine dubbed over Conrad's original narration. Fortunately, the Blu-Ray restored Conrad's voice as the narrator.

Included as one of the documentary special features on Bonus Disc 3 of the 2011 Star Wars The Complete Saga bluray box set release.

Popular Dialogues

"Narrator (original narration from 1977): In the modern world, success can't be confined to one medium - it spills over into every area of our lives. Star Wars has spawned more 'star wares' than anyone can count."
