TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

One of Gregory Peck's movie children was played by Portland Mason, who was the daughter of actor James Mason, and an Italian delivery boy was played by Johnny Crawford a few years before he would achieve fame on the popular TV Western, The Rifleman (1958).

At one point, Betsy Rath refers to Grandma's house in Connecticut as "Dragonwyck". This is a reference to a historical romance novel by Anya Seton which is set at Dragonwyck, a large estate on the Hudson River.

DeForest Kelley, the future Dr. McCoy of Star Trek (1966) fame, plays a medic in an uncredited role. His first words in the film are "He's dead, Captain."

Author Sloan Wilson's personal choice to play Tom Rath in the film version of his best-selling novel was Montgomery Clift.

The trailer for this movie features the original soundtrack from the film All About Eve (1950).

Popular Dialogues
