TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

Juliette Lewis was just out of rehab when Marshall cast her. The insurance company for the film didn't want to insure her, so Marshall put up the money himself.

Juliette Lewis is singing the last song, "Come Rain or Come Shine", at the end of the credit roll.

Marshall considered his daughter, Kathleen for the role of lesbian sister Heather Tate, but after seeing Sarah Paulson's audition he gave her the role.

Harvey Miller's last film appearance. The film is dedicated to him.

Before starring in this film, both Juliette Lewis and Giovanni Ribisi made guest appearances on The Wonder Years (1988-1993). Lewis guest starred as Wayne's girlfriend Delores and Ribisi as one of Kevin's buddies Jeff.

Popular Dialogues

"Daniel McMann: I love to drink, Ernie. Ernie: Yeah? Daniel McMann: Yeah, it makes ya feel good. Is that why people drink? Ernie: Some to be happy, some to forget, some to be brave. Daniel McMann: Ya know, I feel really brave, Ernie. Ernie: No, only cowards get brave that way."
