TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

Hrithik told in an interview that while fighting with Sanjay Dutt he was really injured and his acting in the end was real.

In Sanjay Dutt's 30 years career, this is the first time he appeared bald in a film.

Due to the look of Sanjay Dutt's character being very dark and sinister, there was a lot of interest in the movie before its release. However post the release of Agneepath, it was Rishi Kapoor who got lauded for his great performance as a negative chracter for the first time. Rishi Kapoor's performance was highly acclaimed , even more so than the lead actor Hrithik Roshan's.

The film was an official remake of the original Agneepath but several things were changed, like the backdrop of drugs was introduced, the reason for the death of Vijay's father was changed, Mithun's character was done away with, and Rishi Kapoor's new character was introduced.

Hrithik Roshan and Sanjay Dutt worked after 12 years since Mission Kashmir, coincidentally in both Sanjay Dutt kills his father.

Popular Dialogues

"Suhasini Chauhan: Why have you come here? I don't even want the shadow of your world to fall on my daughter. Young Vijay Deenanath Chauhan: She is my sister too! Suhasini Chauhan: You dare not! You dare not take her name with your tongue! Young Vijay Deenanath Chauhan: And I will forget everything if I don't take her name? Suhasini Chauhan: What will you do? You want one more dead body? Why are you making our world a hell? Young Vijay Deenanath Chauhan: Without power, the world is a hell. Suhasini Chauhan: If your father was alive... Young Vijay Deenanath Chauhan: But he isn't alive! And he was killed by such people only who don't have a right to live. They will have to die as well. Suhasini Chauhan: And by doing this, your father will come back? Young Vijay Deenanath Chauhan: No. But at least I can die in peace."

"Mazhar Lala: Abu. Those areas were supposed to be mine. Rauf Lala: So? Mazhar Lala: You should have given them to me. Rauf Lala: You are still going to get them. Just get rid of you drug habit. Mazhar Lala: What do you mean? Rauf Lala: Do you see those crowds? [pointing at Vijay and the people] Rauf Lala: He has earned that with his own hands. So it's his. You are mine. My own blood. So you are mine. Mazhar Lala: I don't understand. Rauf Lala: Let him rule. The throne is yours. When you are capable enough, you take it. Mazhar Lala: And what about Vijay? Rauf Lala: Who has seen what happens tomorrow? Vijay is there or not..."
