  Numa Perrier is the director of the romance comedy The Perfect Find. It is based on Tia Williams' novel of the same name. The Perfect Time is based on Tia Williams' 2016 book of the same name. The film is directed by Numa Perrier and features actor Gabrielle Union as Jenna, a 40-year-old who begins a successful career as a fashion magazine editor immediately following a breakup. Jenna eventually meets Eric (Keith Powers), a considerably younger man who turns out to be the son of her boss Gina Torres. As the rom-com plays out, complications arise, but it's all entertaining to watch. "The Perfect Find" suffers from stiff speech, sometimes unfunny humour, and a conspicuous lack of energy for a movie about the fashion industry. The two quick-footed protagonists who have perfected the two steps forward, one step back dance that is at the centre of romantic comedies fortunately save it.
