TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

Star Donald Pleasence once cited this as the worst film he'd ever been in.

The film was riffed on Mystery Science Theater 3000 (S9E3).

According to Umberto Lenzi, the producer who would pay for his version of "The Invisible Man", gave up doing so, most likely because of The Pumaman, which was a relatively expensive sci-fi by Italian standards and weak at the box office. Lenzi still considered this aborted project one of his biggest career disappointments.

Director Alberto De Martino later distanced himself from this film, citing various production problems during filming.

In Spain, the film was released in Sevilla in April 1981, and in the rest of the country in July 1981.

Popular Dialogues

"Vadinho: Each man is a God. Each man is free."

"Kobras: I always perfer to strike first."
