TRIVIA

Trivia

The concert compilation is the first of two Best Buy-exclusive releases by the Rolling Stones. It was followed by The Biggest Bang in 2007.

Select performances from the concerts featured on the DVD are featured on The Rolling Stones' 2004 live album Live Licks. The live performance of "Thru and Thru" at Madison Square Garden was released as the final track on their 2005 compilation album Rarities 1971-2003.

The DVD was released exclusively at Best Buy, prompting other retailers to remove previous releases by the Rolling Stones in protest.

The three different concerts in club, arena and stadium venues replicates the Licks Tour touring schedule, in which the Rolling Stones sought to play three types of venues rather than exclusively in large arenas and stadiums as they had done for decades.

Each live concert and their song selections are tailored to the specific size of the venue. The Rolling Stones played lesser-known songs and covers at club venues while playing more popular material at larger arena and stadium venues.
