The Brain from 'Animaniacs/Pinky and the Brain' makes a cameo in the 'Frankenstein' parody. Elmira says "I'll play with you later!" This turned out to be a prophetic statement as the two would go on to star in the short-lived 'Pinky, Elmira and the Brain.'
The final appearance of the Tiny Toon gang on TV, although Elmyra later appeared in a short-lived spin-off, Pinky, Elmyra & the Brain (1998) and the gang has made some appearances in comic books and video games.
The "World's Biggest Tiny Toon Fan" in the sketch, Night of the Living Dull, is based on Dennis "Quozl" Falk, an actual overly-obsessed fan the production team encountered while working on Tiny Toon Adventures. He was a stalker who sent Tress MacNeille disturbing letters which caused her to fear for life and cancel any convention appearances she was planning to make around where he lives.
During the opening theme, Babs appears briefly dressed as Dot Warner from 'Animaniacs.' Both characters are voiced by Tress MacNeille.
Plucky talks like Captain Kirk during the airplane segment. This is a reference to the fact that William Shatner starred in the 'Twilight Zone' episode on which the cartoon is based.
"Babs: [in Rod Serling voice] Behind this curtain lies the scariest picture known to man. It has caused thousands to have horrifying nightmares... [unveils it] Babs: It's my third grade school photo! AHHHH! [switches back to Rod Serling and kicks the photo out of view] Babs: But, I digress. Here's something *almost* as frightening..."
"[Plucky arrives at Montana Max's house. The house is in flames and demons are laughing and dancing on the roof] Plucky Duck: Hmm, either Monty's sold his soul to the Devil, or Shannon Doherty's spending the night."
