Transformers: Rise Of The Beasts Review

Following the 1987 events of Bumblebee, when the remainder of the Autobots came to Earth, the war with the evil Decepticons largely went on in secret. Everything changes when Anthony Ramos, a scholar of ancient antiquities from Brooklyn, and Dominique Fishback, an electronics expert, stumble upon something that drags them into the continuing struggle between the Transformers. The Maximals, Predacons, and Terrorcons look to have all been on Earth for a very long time, with the next phase of the Autobot-Decepticon battle bringing them back into the fold. But other from the trailers, Paramount hasn't provided any information about the plot. And of course, we just learned that the "Planet Eater" Unicron, who missed his moment to shine in Michael Bay's Transformers storyline, plays a significant part in Transformers: Rise of the Beasts. It appears Paramount and Hasbro want to exploit him from the start to draw as many fans as possible instead of gradually building towards his comeback since The Last Knight (2017) had set him up and the last set of live-action films were blocked straight after due to declining returns.
