Rotten Tomatoes"Triangle of Sadness" is a humorous and cutting satire that takes a sarcastic look at the fashion industry and its excesses. Three main people are followed in the movie: a wealthy supermodel, her eccentric billionaire husband, and an ambitious fashion blogger. The three finds themselves in a world where appearance is everything and morality is negotiable, one that is characterised by narcissism, superficiality, and fierce competitiveness. The movie's director, Ruben stlund, has a good sense of humour and an eye for detail, which allows him to create a universe that is both ludicrous and all too real. Each actor gives a deep and multi-layered portrayal that beautifully captures the characters' own personality traits. The film's beautiful cinematography, which showcases stunning vistas that portray the glitz and decadence of the fashion world, is one of its notable elements. The music in the movie is also cleverly used to support the mood and topics of the picture. The world of haute fashion is satirised in 'Triangle of Sadness' with savage wit and elegance, and it is a witty and enjoyable comedy. Anyone who appreciates intelligent and edgy cinema must see it.

Charlbi Dean unexpectedly died shortly after the film's release. Although no cause of death was officially released, she seemed to have succumbed to a lung infection, complicated by the fact that she had lost her spleen several years before in a car accident. She was just 32.
In a podcast interview, De Leon said her character Abigail was supposed to be a male mechanic of the yacht, but when Östlund pitched the film to his students, one suggested that it would be more interesting if the character was a woman.
The yacht scenes were shot on the Cristina O, the former yacht of the Onassis family. The crew only had nine days to shoot on it, which cost a lot of money, and the shoot ended the day before another lockdown came into effect. Director Ruben Östlund admits that if it had happened a few days earlier, he doesn't know how they would have managed to finish the movie.
When he landed the part of Carl, Harris Dickinson was told that his character was a car mechanic before he became a model. Dickinson duly did a lot of intense research into the profession, only to find when he arrived on set that that detail had been excised from the script.
Ruben Östlund wanted Carl to carry a copy of James Joyce's "Ulysses" in his casting call audition. Being the diligent young actor, Harris Dickinson made a point of reading the entire book, finding it quite a hard slog. He was dismayed when they came to film the sequence when Ostlund told him that he didn't need to bring the book. Carl can later be seen reading it while sunbathing on the yacht anyway.
