Parmeet Sethi (Roger Talkar) called director Avi Nesher one day before he was scheduled to arrive to say that he will not be arriving because of the Iraqi threat (see below)

French and Indian actors that worked with the Israeli crew were under Iraqi threat. The shooting of the film occured during the American military movement into Iraq.

This was Neta Garty's first motion picture.
