The show is inspired by the real-life cases of Naama Issaschar, an Israeli-American woman detained in Russia on drug charges in 2019, and Brittney Griner, an American basketball player arrested in Russia in 2022.
The series will first premiere in Israel on Keshet 12 before its global release on Apple TV+.
