TRIVIA

Trivia

Attempting to cash in on the name recognition of Young Frankenstein (1974), Vampira was renamed "Old Dracula" for North American release. The two films were shown back-to-back as a double bill in many locations.

Linda Hayden has said she was not told by the production team what part she was up for.

Jan Francis was offered a key role but was not available because she was working on a TV drama serial.

Count Dracula peruses the July 1973 issue of "Playboy" magazine.

The film's US/Canadian title "Old Dracula" riffs on Young Frankenstein (1974), already a surprise comedy ht.
