Near the end of the movie, a man looks inside the minivan, and tells Michael to "Burn it all away!". Michael is played by Paul Walker, who soon after died in a car crash that set the Porsche ablaze. Incidentally, that car was red, just like the freshly repainted minivan.
In the final car chase, just a handful of cars can repeatedly be seen as either traffic or cars parked on the side of the street.
The police cars are mostly BMW 3 series. There is also a VW Golf/Rabbit, and an Isuzu Pickup truck.
Early in the film the minivan shows the rear wheel thru the driver side mirror spinning in loose sand. The minivan is front wheel drive so the spinning should occur in the front wheel.
"Rachel Shabangu: You must do the right thing... It's on you."
