TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

The first draft of the script was written in one continuous 36 hour-long session. Writer Alex Withrow edited and fined tuned the script for 10 months, until production began.

The first draft of the script was completed on January 10, 2013. The final day of principal photography was on January 10, 2014. The film had its festival premiere on January 14, 2015, nearly two years to the day from finishing the first draft.

Principal photography of WAIT took place on 20 days over a two month period, from November 2013 to January 2014. Three additional shooting days occurred in May 2014.

Writer/director Alex Withrow gave composers Martin and Ezekiel Etcheverry a handful of albums to use as inspiration while creating their score. These include, "Digital Shades, Vol. 1" by M83, "Apollo: Atmospheres and Soundtracks" by Brian Eno, and Shane Carruth's original motion picture score for "Upstream Color."

The original score was composed based solely on conversations between writer/director Alex Withrow and composers Martin and Ezekiel Etcheverry. With the exception of the final song in the film, the Etcheverry brothers never read the script or saw a frame of WAIT before they delivered their completed score.

Popular Dialogues

"Christian: This is Christian. Christian Wood. Claire's Christian. There's been an accident."

"Claire: I guess I decided a long time ago to leave the past where it is."
