Marks the first new Wallace & Gromit film since the death of Wallace's voice actor from the previous 5 films, Peter Sallis, in 2017.
Nick Park: "At the peak of it, we have around 35 animators all working every day on different sets doing between 1-5 seconds of animation a day. We have around 200 supporting crew in the studio too. It's a massive team effort to make a film like this. In a good week, we might hit a minute of film. That's good going too!"
On the notice board in the police station, amongst the various wanted posters, a request for information can be seen regarding 'Mrs Tweedy', the antagonist from Aardman movies 'Chicken Run' (2000) and 'Chicken Run: Dawn of The Nugget' (2023).
The film apparently took 6 years to make, from the original idea to release, taking 15 months to film. Despite this, it was only announced two years prior to its release, unlike anything ever announced by Aardman.
The film was released 35 years after the first film Wallace & Gromit: A Grand Day Out (1989) was released.
