The Man quotes from the poem, "Fire and Ice", by Robert Frost

Producer Ross Disney took the film away from writer/director, Bob Ellis, and recut it quite severely. Ellis disowned the version that was released, and hoped to eventually self distribute his director's cut, which was sadly destroyed in a house fire later on.
