WWF Prime Time Wrestling was a professional wrestling television program produced by the World Wrestling Federation. It aired on the USA Network from 1985–1993. A precursor to Monday Night Raw, Prime Time Wrestling was a two-hour long, weekly program that featured stars of the World Wrestling Federation. The program featured wrestling matches, interviews, promos featuring WWF wrestlers, updates of current feuds and announcements of upcoming local and pay-per-view events. Past episodes of Prime Time Wrestling have been re-aired on WWE Classics on Demand since November 2004.

WWF primetime wrestling and WWF superstars of wrestling (1985) was a tv show featuring previously precorded matches. wrestlers and their managers cutting their promos and backstage interviews with special guests this would be the same format they would use for WWE Monday night raw (1993)
"Bobby Heenan: [to The Red Rooster] I'm through with you and you're through with me. I made a mistake. The Red Rooster: Yes! Gorilla Monsoon: Sounds good to me. Bobby Heenan: Forget it! [Heenan extends his hand to the Red Rooster to shake] Gorilla Monsoon: [to the Red Rooster] Not that often he apologises. [Heenan shakes the Roosters hand and then slaps him] Gorilla Monsoon: [to Heenan] Now what are you doing? [jobber Steve Lombardi storms onto the Prime Time set with a stool and knocks out The Rooster and then Gorilla Monsoon] Bobby Heenan: [to Lombardi] Come on, buddy get him. Grab him, choke him! [Lombardi does so and then throws the Rooster into a large cabinet that falls down onto the floor.] Bobby Heenan: Slam him Right through there. [Lombardi slams the Rooster onto the cabinet that fell over] Bobby Heenan: Choke him now. Choke him. [Lombardi does so] Bobby Heenan: [to The Red Rooster] What's the matter, Rooster, er, Taylor? How come your not such a tough guy? Bobby Heenan: [to Lombardi] Choke him! Choke him!"
