The names of the three lookalikes of Ina's former husbands--Kevin, Joe and Nick--are taken from The Jonas Brothers.
Among the actors playing the children, only Heart Evangelista did not reprise her role, despite requests for her to appear. Right after the first Tanging Ina movie, Heart and Marvin Agustin moved to the GMA Network. However, Agustin agreed to work on this movie. Heart's character was included in the original script. When Heart failed to show up during the filming, it was considered to have another actress playing her part, but it was later scrapped.
Among the former husbands, only Edu Manzano did not reprise as a lookalike. Manzano was already with the rival GMA Network during this film's production.
The characters of Pip and the mother of his lovechild Nora refer to the tandem of Nora Aunor and Tirso Cruz III.
Erika Padilla's debut.
