For guys who want best android tablet in market..No second thought...Go for Nexus 7.nFor those who are confused between iPad mini 2 and Nexus 7 2013nI am listing out differences n what you can expect from this tablet :-nn1. DESIGN- Asus and Google have done great job here. Mere 300 grams weight. Easy to hold. Possibility of slipping into you pocket. I like its form factor better than iPad mini. Those who want bigger screen can go for mini but when you consider portability, it is a win for Nexus 7. Though Apple designs are best in the market but it comes with a premium cost. And i personally like 7 inch factor more than 7.9 inch as it is easy to hold and easy to type plus portability.nn2.SCREEN- Screen is awesome. I can't keep my eyes off this tablet. Small characters are visible crystal clear and sharp that zooming in looks like crime. Full HD display serve as a boon for watching movie and reading text. I can say it is equally good as iPad mini retina. Both have same pixel density of 323 pixel/inch. Games and video also look amazing. 16:9 aspect is perfect for watching movie and playing games compared to iPad mini 4:3 aspect ratio. Although reading is better on iPad mini as it has bigger screen.nn3. PERFORMANCE- I have been using this tablet for past few days extensively. I have not experienced a single lag. Whether I open 20 apps simultaneously or I try to open 25 tabs on my chrome browser this tablet runs blazzzingly smooth. Tech guys says iPad mini have better prossesor. I don't mind until it is giving me smooth performance. I am quiet satisfied with its performance. Moreover you have double the ram than iPad mini retina. Opening plenty of apps at the same time will not downgrade its performance. nn4.SOUND- Stereo speakers!! Whether you are watching movie or listening songs, they are very clear and loud. Plus you dual speaker containing one on each side to create surround sound effect. Plss don't compare it with your home theatre or surround sound system. But for tablet it has done pretty decent job. Serious improvement over last generation. IPad mini speaker are more lound but they are not likely to be used in landscape mode as they are on one side. So thumbs up for Google Nexus.nn5.OS- Android vs iOS- long debatenEach system has its own advantage. Very difficult to say which one is best. I personally like Android more as it can be easily customized and also easy to transfer Media from my laptop. No iTunes needed. iOS has its own advantage as thousands of APPs for tablet. Simple to use. But Google is catching up. You are likely to find all good apps on Google play store too.nn6.CAMERA- do you seriously need a superior camera on tablet. I don't think so. Camera on nexus 7 is decent. Full HD recording from both front and back camera. 5 mp rear camera is good for taking picture outdoor but in low light condition picture are not clear. Ipad camera is better as pics on it have more real colors while Nexus 7 pics look more saturated. But what you want to do with camera on your tablet can be done on nexus 7. I would really like to see a flash with camera on next Gen..!!nn7.BATTERY- I wish Google has done something in this matter. Battery serves me 9 /10 hrs. Definitely up to tablet standards but could be better. And it also depend on how you use it. If you play more games and watch more movie than you are likely to charge it more. Definitely IPad mini has better battery than Nexus 7 with 2-3 hrs of more battery usage.nn8.COST- I got Nexus 4G/LTE 32Gb version at 28k. Same model is available in ipad mini at 45k !!nSeriously man !!nIf you are ready to shell out 17k more for same features. Then go ahead. nPersonally I don't expect any thing more from tablet than utility. What I can do on ipad can be done on this tablet too. But if you are more peculiar about details and premium feel than ipad can only satisfy you. But if you want full worth of your beloved money, I will recommend NEXUS 7... So guys go ahead and have fun....nnnnGuys, This one is being added up after 5 months of consistent use :-nnTill now, I haven't witnessed any problem..!!nNot even a single time...Battery is giving same amt of backup, performance is smooth as ever..Actually I am happy that I have chosen it over iPad mini...it gave me advantage of sharing so many resources so easily...files can b easily transferred over Bluetooth, wireless LAN, cable without any hassle...I love reading articles on my tab... Even games are more fun...Not a single day has passed without this beautiful product...nnApps to download:-nPocket, Flipboard, Evernote, Superbeam, ES file explorernnGuys...if u genuinely want a good product who gives true value and productivity, then this is it. I strongly recommend it to everyone of u...
Tab is no doubt awesome...but this is India...at Rs@25000 anyone will prefer to buy a laptop over a mere tab... I m waiting for almost an year...an yet its abt 25k...please flipkart...drop the MIGHTY cost.. trust me...our only expectation is u..atleast bring it to Rs.20000...
