i bought this lappy from a local store for 34 K during diwali. For the normal users or first time buyer or those who have been caught up in i3 or i5 dilemma, this one is a good lappy for a decent price tag. If any of you prospective buyers have a normal usage( a bit of gaming,browsing, movies... nothing heavy) then this is the lappy to get. pro: 1.good battery back up(upto 4.5 hrs in normal usage eg browsing) 2.light weight (only 2 kgs) 3.nice sound quality ( nice n loud, sufficient to hear in noisy environment) 4.touch pad is awesome.(have tried toshiba n can spot a big difference here) 5.14 inch screen: yes this a pro, cause lesser the screen size so less energy consumption. i definitely recommend 14 inch over 15.6 inch lappy) cons: 1. viewing angle is a bit of an irritant. 2.two in one headphone jack is definitely a downer for me.
Never faced any problems even under high load applications like Abaqus. A very able laptop for both work and recreational use. Fairly light and study. Now works even better after two years with Windows 10.
