The HP Chromebook 14 G1 (H6Q27EA) Netbook sports a decently sharp and bright 14-inch HD SVA flat WLED Brightview Display offering a resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels. It boasts of a sleek 21.6 mm white outfit and weighs only 1.9 Kg, thus making sure that you face no discomfort while carrying it around with you. The input devices housed by the chromebook are - a Clickpad with Multi-touch Gestures Support and a Full-size island-style Chrome OS keyboard.
Processor and OS
On the inside, the chromebook is armed with a 4th generation Intel Celeron Dual Core 2955U processor clocked at 1.4 GHz and on sitting a Intel HM86 Express chipset. Working in tandem with the CPU is a 4GB DDR3 RAM set in a 1 x 4 Gigabyte memory layout and having a speed of 1600 Mhz. You can further expand the memory up to 8GB using the one memory slot available. It manages rich videos and movies with the integrated Intel HD graphic processor. The netbook runs on the highly intuitive 64-bit Google Chrome operating system.
Camera, storage and multimedia
The HP Chromebook 14 G1 (H6Q27EA) houses a HP TrueVision webcam on the bezel just above the display. The camera in consonance with a digital microphone gives you a clear and noiseless video calling. The camera can also click good still photos. It comes with 16GB SSD memory to offer good response but falls short as far as storage space is concerned. Dual speakers based on the HD Audio Solution software provides great entertainment.
Battery and connectivity
The netbook sips its juice from a 4 Cell Li-ion battery to provide you an uninterrupted service for a decent number of hours. On the connectivity front the chromebook has been spotted with features like - Ethernet, Wireless LAN 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, HDMI port, one USB 2.0 slot, two USB 3.o slots and Digital Media Reader.
