Received the laptop on time as promised, this talks about the professionalism of Flipkart.On opening the package and starting the laptop found that the operating system is FreeDOS instead of Ubuntu, which was indicated on the portal. Intimated this to Flipkart customer support, to which I was promised resolution within 3 days. True to this commitment, received a call from the customer support and was intimated that HP has intimated then that this laptop comes only with FreeDOS. Flipkart offered to compensate with the price of getting Ubuntu installed on this laptop, which helped in getting this laptop configured with Ubuntu. This shows the Flipkart's commitment towards its customer. which I applaud. nnNow, about the product; this is a good value for money laptop and has been performing without any issues. On Ubuntu the performance is comparable with any high spec laptop. Connectivity using Wifi as well as LAN is seamless and I did not have to fight with the configuration at all. I would recommend this laptop for any user who is interested to use it with Ubuntu.
Guys be careful before buying this laptop because not all drivers are available for windows 7 64bit though the official HP website says so. Engineer from HP visited my house tried his best and finally gave up saying sorry we do not have all the drivers.
