The HP Pavilion 15-ab157nr (M1Y29UA) is a stylish laptop that consists some average features. The great configuration delivers a powerful performance while handling multitasking. The battery backup is good for daily usage. However, a dedicated GPU would have been an additional package around this price tag.
Display and Configuration

The HP Pavilion 15-ab157nr (M1Y29UA) features a 15.6-inch Diagonal HD BrightView WLED-Backlit display with a screen resolution of 1366 x 768 Pixels. The silver coloured laptop weighs around 2.29kg and measures 384.5 x 261.11 x 25.1mm.  The laptop is driven by a 2.2GHz Intel Core i3-5020U (5th Gen) processor assisted by an 8GB of DDR3 RAM. For further assistance, an inbuilt Intel HD 5500 Graphics unit is also present. The laptop starts with Windows 10 Home Premium operating system floating upon 6-bit architecture.

Storage, Connectivity and Camera

As far as storage is concerned the laptop is equipped with a 500GB SATA hard disk which revolves at a speed of 5,400 RPM.  For networking and sharing, the HP Pavilion 15-ab157nr (M1Y29UA) offers a lot of options such as - Wireless LAN 802.11 b/g/n, one slot for USB 2.0, a headphone jack, Bluetooth v4.0, two USB 3.0 slots, a microphone jack, a VGA port and an SD card reader. On the optics front, the laptop is stacked with a webcam which can record videos and helps to do high-resolution video calling. 

Input Device, Sound and Battery

The HP Pavilion 15-ab157nr (M1Y29UA) provides three basic input devices including an HP Imagepad with multi-touch gesture support, a full-size island-style keyboard and a DVD writer. In order to listen good quality sound, the dual speakers powered by Bang & Olufsen Play technology are present. The laptop houses a 4 cell Li-ion battery which keeps the show running for long hours.
